About Aaron

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist.  I grew up in New York City, but have been in Los Angeles for over 25 years.   My practice is dedicated to helping men, women, and couples work through relational, emotional and personal problems so that they can lead a more meaningful life.

In addition to seeing clients for over fifteen years in private practice, I was a primary therapist for five years at the Los Angeles Child Guidance Clinic, a trauma clinic for children and families in South Los Angeles.  During that time I provided short and long term therapy, family therapy, crisis intervention, trauma work, group therapy and case management.  I also, for eight years, trained and supervised pre-licensed therapists in the Family Therapy Training program at the Southern California Counseling Center in Los Angeles.

I received advanced training in Narrative and Solution Focused Therapies at Phillips Graduate Institute and also utilize the latest developments in Neuroscience, Mindfulness and other therapeutic modalities as appropriate.  I am trained in EMDR thru an EMDRIA approved training program.

My style is collaborative, warm and authentic. Anxiety, depression or relational conflict can be overwhelming but these problems do not have to define who you are. I can help you enjoy your life and not be captured by your problems.
