One of my specialties is helping individuals and couples struggling with infertility issues. In addition to my professional involvement with clients, I also have personal experience navigating the complex infertility journey. As my clients struggle to create a family, they are faced with many stressors including communication problems, decreased ability to empathize with each other, marital dissatisfaction and sexual dysfunction. It is common for shame and blame to make an appearance and for couples to get out of sync emotionally with each other and, as a result, have trouble negotiating the various medical options that are part of fertility treatment.
I work hard to create a safe and supportive environment for my clients to explore their infertility experience, put voice to their personal pain without alienating their partner, and to become united once again as a team.
Each journey is very different and if you are interested in hearing more about my experience working with this issue and have questions about your specific situation, please don’t hesitate to call and ask.
