Engaging in therapy is a brave and rewarding decision. At times the process can be challenging, but it provides new perspective and understanding that can be liberating. I work collaboratively with clients to outline goals and hopes and then create ways to implement these changes. Typically we will meet weekly, though I am open to exploring if you would need more or less frequent sessions.
I create a safe environment where you can feel free to explore, risk and grow. It’s as if we are unpacking a suitcase, and as we look at all of the items we decide which ones you want to keep and which items are outdated and no longer serving you. As we define your concerns and hopes, I will assist in creating new ways of responding to old problems, so that you’re no longer defined by those problems but empowered to find new solutions. I will help you to become aware of negative patterns and explore ways to shift behavior, so that you can respond positively to life’s challenges. Our work together will give you a new perspective that will help you live a more fulfilled life.
